Booking Agent – Logistics Operations

About the role

The Booking Agent will support logistics operations by coordinating the flow of goods in and out of the GIGO facility. This role ensures accurate bookings, verifies pallet dimensions, and maintains high standards of safety and quality for concession partners.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify booked quantities of pallets or cages and update the logistics system.
• Check that pallets meet standard dimensions, are undamaged, and are well‑packed.
• Prepare documentation for any discrepancies and ensure proper handling, preservation, and storage of goods.
• Create appropriate bookings on behalf of concessionaires for pre‑confirmed deliveries.
• Manage all database transactions in the Logistics Management Portal related to goods receipt, issuance, and distribution.
• Monitor daily deliveries for concession partners, ensuring timely completion without complaints.
• Identify areas of concern and report them to the Operations Supervisor for resolution.
• Implement and monitor EHS policies in line with Abu Dhabi OSHAD, ISO 18001:2007, and ADPORTS QHSSE standards.

Required profile

• Experience in logistics or supply‑chain operations, particularly handling goods in and out of a warehouse.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations such as OSHAD and ISO 18001.
• Strong attention to detail for verifying quantities, dimensions, and documentation.
• Ability to work with concession partners and coordinate bookings efficiently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Logistics Management Portal system for database transactions.
