Burger & Fries Cook - Urgent Hiring

About the role

A food and beverage client in Abu Dhabi, UAE is looking for an experienced Burger & Fries Cook. The cook prepares chicken burgers, regular burgers and French fries, maintains food quality and hygiene, and runs the grill and fryer during busy service hours. The position is full-time, 10 hours per day with one day off per week.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook chicken and regular burgers, following approved recipes and portion sizes
• Prepare, fry, season and serve French fries, keeping fryer temperatures and oil handling safe
• Operate grills and fryers safely and organize workstations before service
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, prevent cross-contamination and follow food storage and temperature controls
• Monitor ingredient usage, report low stock and assist with receiving and storing supplies

Required profile

• Previous hands-on fast food cooking experience (burger cook, fast food cook or similar)
• Practical experience preparing chicken burgers, regular burgers and French fries
• Preferred nationalities: Sri Lankan, Nepali, Indian and other Asian nationalities
• Hardworking, punctual and able to work under pressure

Required skills

• Grill operation and deep-frying techniques
• Safe chicken handling and food hygiene, sanitation and storage practices
• Basic ingredient inventory and stock management
