Business Analyst Intern - Strategy & Transformation

About the role

FTI Consulting, a global expert firm for organizations facing crisis and transformation, is recruiting a Business Analyst Intern for its Strategy & Transformation team. The internship runs from 14 June to 20 August 2027 and suits motivated students who want to work alongside consultants and former industry executives on practical, actionable solutions. The role involves mentoring, in-depth analysis and client-facing work.

Key responsibilities

• Support clients' projects and contribute to the firm's business development and intellectual capital development.
• Conduct in-depth research and analyse quantitative and qualitative data.
• Synthesise findings into clear presentations and reports.
• Take part in client meetings and internal team meetings.
• Work with senior team members on project planning, coordination and implementation.

Required profile

• Actively pursuing a full-time bachelor's or master's degree, graduating or taking a gap year between June 2027 and June 2028.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Able to work 40 hours per week for the whole internship and to travel to clients and offices.
• Preferred majors: Business Administration, Management, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics or Statistics.

Required skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and teamwork in a diverse setting.
