Business Assistant - Import/Export Trade

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Business Assistant to support our trading and operations team in Dubai. The role involves handling trade documentation, contract administration, SAP data management, and coordinating import/export activities within the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain data in SAP, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
• Handle vendor and bank registrations and related administrative processes.
• Review and maintain business contracts, focusing on commercial and trading terms.
• Coordinate import/export documentation and trade execution processes.
• Manage shipping documents and facilitate after‑sales communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare and issue sales invoices while maintaining contract‑related accounting records.
• Support trade operations through accurate documentation and reporting.
• Conduct desktop research on food commodities or trading activities as required.
• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, logistics partners, and customers to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience as a Business Assistant, Trade Assistant, or similar role in import/export operations.
• Experience handling trade documentation, shipping documents, and commercial contracts.
• Working knowledge of SAP and data management systems.
• Familiarity with vendor and bank registration processes.
• Strong understanding of import/export processes and international trade terms.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Logistics, or related field preferred.
