Business Development / Account Executive – Smart Buildings SaaS

About the role

Our client, a leading provider of advanced technology solutions for Smart Cities, Buildings and Renewable Energy, is seeking a Business Development or Account Executive to drive the full sales process for its intelligent SaaS platform. You will work closely with senior leadership to shape and execute go‑to‑market strategies for new products across the UAE and KSA.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target prospective clients within Smart Cities, Smart Buildings and Renewable Energy sectors.
• Present and demonstrate the SaaS platform, aligning features with client needs.
• Manage contract negotiations and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Gather market insights and feedback for product development teams.
• Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Collaborate with marketing to create effective sales materials for the IoT platform.
• Represent the company at industry events, webinars and conferences to generate leads.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation to post‑sale follow‑up.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience selling IoT, SaaS or Smart Buildings solutions in the UAE or KSA.
• Proven ability to manage full sales cycles and achieve revenue targets.
