Business Development Executive

About the role

The Business Development Executive will drive sales for RD Content in Abu Dhabi, managing new client acquisition and growing existing accounts across government, energy, sport, financial services and real estate sectors. Reporting to the Account Director, you will own sales targets and contribute to the UAE office's revenue goals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, research and map target clients, run outreach via LinkedIn, email, calls and networking to build a healthy pipeline.
• Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to proposal, negotiation and contract signing.
• Manage a portfolio of key Abu Dhabi clients, building long‑term relationships and expanding repeat business.
• Prepare and present pitches, credentials and tender documents, negotiating scopes, budgets and contracts while protecting margins.
• Maintain accurate CRM data, forecast sales, and report pipeline performance to the Account Director.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development or account management within the UAE media, production or advertising sector.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Established network of senior contacts in Abu Dhabi across government, energy, sport, finance or real estate.
• Self‑starter, organised and comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM and sales tools such as HubSpot.
• Advanced use of Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
