Business Development Manager – Education

About the role

WioWio Bank is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the growth of its Education portfolio across the United Arab Emirates. You will work closely with nurseries, training centres and schools to introduce the bank’s digital business banking and payment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and expand Wio’s Education portfolio by acquiring new customers in nurseries, training centres and schools.
• Source, negotiate and close new business deals, acting as the primary point of contact for education clients.
• Introduce and promote Wio’s business banking and payment products to simplify collections, payments and day‑to‑day banking for education institutions.
• Identify fresh market opportunities and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Represent Wio at industry events and grow a professional network within the education sector.
• Provide market feedback to help shape future products and propositions for education customers.

Required profile

• Proven track record of end‑to‑end deal closing.
• Established network across UAE nurseries, training centres and/or schools.
• Depth of knowledge in at least one education sub‑sector.
• Ability to build a territory from scratch and generate opportunities.
• Excellent relationship‑building, negotiation and communication skills.
• Self‑driven, commercially minded and comfortable in a fast‑moving environment.
