Business Development Manager – Global Industrialization, Middle East & Africa

About the role

Siemens Digital Industries is seeking a Business Development Manager to act as the geographic orchestration node for Global Industrial Journeys in the Middle East & Africa. Based in Dubai, you will connect priority Chinese industrial customers and their ecosystem signals with Siemens capabilities, turning cross‑border complexity into coordinated growth.

Key responsibilities

• Detect and qualify journey and project signals across MEA, focusing on Chinese industrial champions and related EPC/OEM participation.
• Translate early intelligence into qualified Digital Industries opportunity hypotheses.
• Mobilise MEA country/account teams, China GED nodes, verticals and technology units around priority customer journeys.
• Maintain Siemens neutrality while enabling commercial teams to convert signals into pipeline and lighthouse pursuits.
• Capture successful patterns and contribute to GED data, qualification, orchestration and digital capabilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial business development, sales, EPC/project development or key‑account management.
• Strong understanding of Middle East industrial/project ecosystems; Africa exposure is a plus.
• Experience with large investment projects in infrastructure, energy or industrial manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate multi‑party ecosystems and influence across organisations without formal authority.
• High proficiency in written and spoken English; Arabic or Mandarin are strong advantages.
