Business Development Manager - Insurance

About the role

Union Insurance, licensed by the UAE Insurance Authority and listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, offers retail and commercial insurance products to clients in the UAE and the wider Middle East. It is looking for a Business Development Manager with a flair for sales, an outgoing personality and a keen interest in customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Generate business through personal networks, networking events, market intelligence, cold calling and referrals.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop a shared approach to the services offered to clients.
• Achieve monthly individual targets.
• Ensure high-quality client service and retain insurance contracts to maintain professional, loyal relationships.
• Focus on competitor, economic and industry developments to identify new opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in the UAE insurance sector.
• Proven track record of generating at least AED 2 million year-on-year.

Required skills

• Excellent sales and presentation skills with a client-focused approach.
• Skilled in maintaining relationships with clients and business partners.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
