Business Development Manager

About the role

As the first dedicated hire for IDX in the Middle East, you will help establish the company’s regional presence, build lasting client partnerships and drive new business opportunities across the market.

Key responsibilities

• Raise IDX’s profile and awareness across the Middle East, acting as a visible, credible market presence.
• Identify and open new business opportunities, working closely with the Global Business Development Director and Head of Middle East to convert interest into pipeline.
• Own day‑to‑day relationships for a portfolio of Middle East clients, nurturing long‑term, multi‑service partnerships.
• Provide ongoing service support, helping clients maintain, update and evolve their digital communications.
• Represent IDX at regional conferences and networking events to generate leads and strengthen relationships.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure client needs are communicated and delivered effectively.
• Proactively manage communications and follow‑ups to keep projects on track.
• Deliver market and client insights to inform strategic decisions and shape IDX’s regional operation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, sales support or client‑facing roles with a track record of opening opportunities and building relationships.
• Background in corporate communications, investor relations or digital communications.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, with strong experience working across the UAE and wider Middle East market.
• Comfortable working independently and pragmatically as part of a small, growing regional team.
