Business Development Manager

About the role

Seatrium Limited is looking for a Business Development Manager in Dubai to lead its marketing team and drive business growth for the Keppel O&M Group and its customers. The role covers tender bids, customer relationships, business strategy and the marketing department's budget and training.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the marketing team to serve the business unit, the Keppel O&M Group and customers in line with group objectives
• Lead responses to tender bids, enquiries and contract reviews with customers
• Build relationships with potential customers and strengthen ties with existing ones
• Stay alert to industry trends and develop business strategies to identify and evaluate new market opportunities
• Own the marketing department's operational budget and training programmes, and manage the career development and training of the marketing team

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing
• At least 8 years of marketing experience in a management position
• Good understanding of the industry, market conditions and the company's current situation
• Able to travel at short notice

Required skills

• Strong business and commercial acumen
• Good understanding of contractual matters
• Technical knowledge of rigs, ships and offshore platforms
• Excellent presentation skills and strong interpersonal and organisational skills
• Understanding of business protocols and client relationship building
