Business Development Manager – Middle East

About the role

Destinus is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead growth in the Middle East defence sector. You will act as the bridge between government stakeholders, procurement processes, and our engineering teams, promoting cutting‑edge UAV solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and manage new business opportunities within the Middle East defence market, focusing on UAV technology.
• Lead the preparation, submission and follow‑up of bids, proposals and tenders, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies to position Destinus solutions effectively.
• Analyse market trends, competitive landscape and procurement frameworks to uncover opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineering, legal and finance teams to align proposals with business objectives.
• Negotiate and manage contracts, securing favourable terms and overseeing successful project execution.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales or procurement within the defence sector.
• Proven experience in the UAV/drone industry or government procurement is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the Middle East defence ecosystem, including procurement processes and key stakeholders.
• Extroverted personality with excellent communication and networking skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel within Spain and internationally.
