Business Development - Smart Cities

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Business Development professional to expand our Smart City Solutions portfolio across the UAE and the wider GCC. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and promoting innovative digital and smart‑city technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in smart city, digital transformation, smart mobility and intelligent transportation systems.
• Build and maintain relationships with government authorities, municipalities, transport agencies, developers and technology partners.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and market presence, monitor tenders and RFPs, and lead client meetings and negotiations.
• Collaborate with technical, commercial and operations teams to create client‑focused proposals and solution offerings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.
• 7+ years of business development experience in smart‑city solutions, digital transformation, ITS, IoT or related technology sectors.
• Native English speaker with a strong network among UAE government and semi‑government entities.
• Proven experience handling government tenders, RFPs and commercial proposals.

Required skills

• Good understanding of smart‑city technologies, digital platforms and technology‑driven infrastructure solutions.
• Experience with IoT and AI‑powered solutions in urban environments.
