Technical Sales Engineer

About the role
The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for generating and managing technical and commercial bids, supporting clients throughout the sales cycle, and achieving monthly sales targets. The role requires a solid understanding of engineering standards and concepts, particularly within the oil and gas sector.
Key responsibilities
- Clearly articulate technical capabilities and deliver technical demonstrations.
- Source new clients, focusing on oil and gas end‑users and EPC companies.
- Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry generation to order receipt and execution.
- Prepare technical and commercial bids and proposals, and follow up with clients.
- Issue LPOs/FPOs to manufacturers/suppliers and track purchase orders and delivery dates.
- Identify and engage new manufacturers/suppliers.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing.
- Provide general technical support to clients.
Required profile
- Good understanding of sales processes and ability to manage them professionally.
- Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Integrity and professionalism in client interactions.
