Butler

About the role

Jumeirah Hotel Group in Dubai is hiring a butler. The position involves providing attentive, discreet and personalised service to principals or guests, and maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of rooms, suites or private areas. Working hours are 48 hours per week with one day off, and the contract lasts 2 years.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival, assist with check-ins and handle special requests; anticipate needs and preferences.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organisation and readiness of rooms, suites or private areas, working with housekeeping and maintenance.
• Serve meals and beverages to formal service standards (silver service, butler style), assist with table setting, wine service and clearing, and coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff for in-room dining or private functions.

Required profile

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel, private estate, yacht or VIP residence.
• Well-groomed, professional appearance and impeccable manners, with a high level of discretion, integrity and confidentiality.
• Excellent knowledge of dining etiquette, table setting and wine service, and strong organisational and multitasking skills.

• Salary of 2,300 - 2,975 AED plus service charge and tips.
