Buyer – Home Décor & Furniture (Sharjah)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Buyer to manage the sourcing and procurement of furniture, home décor, lighting and related products for our Sharjah operations. The role involves identifying new suppliers, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality and budget standards.

Key responsibilities

• Source and purchase furniture, home décor, lighting, and related products from local and international suppliers.
• Identify new suppliers, products, and market trends within the home décor and furniture industry.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with suppliers.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure timely procurement of products.
• Analyze sales trends, inventory levels, and customer demand to optimize purchasing decisions.
• Coordinate with merchandising, showroom, warehouse, and logistics teams for stock planning and replenishment.
• Ensure products meet company quality standards and budget requirements.
• Monitor stock movement and minimize overstocking or shortages.
• Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on competitor activities and new product developments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Buyer in the home décor, furniture or retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of furniture and home décor products, materials and market trends.
• Experience in supplier negotiation and procurement planning.
• Good analytical and forecasting abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
