Buyer – Procurement Specialist for Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Buyer to manage purchasing activities for large‑scale oil & gas EPC projects. The role supports project teams by handling inquiries, negotiations, and purchase order administration while ensuring compliance with company guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and float inquiries, conduct economic and contractual negotiations.
• Provide economic evaluations to project teams and highlight potential budget overruns.
• Issue purchase orders, manage amendments, and expedite vendor acceptance.
• Support project procurement coordinators in resolving commercial issues.
• Negotiate commercial terms and conditions with suppliers.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams throughout the procurement process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of purchasing experience in construction of large oil & gas plants or EPC projects.
• Proven experience with international purchasing, especially steel structure fabrication and piping bulk procurement.
