CAD Draftsman – AutoCAD & Basic Revit

About the role

AYN is recruiting on behalf of a client in the construction industry for an experienced CAD Draftsman based in Dubai. The successful candidate will prepare accurate technical drawings and documentation while supporting engineering, architectural and BIM teams. The position is full time, with an estimated salary of AED 4,500 to AED 7,000 per month.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections and shop drawings.
• Produce technical documentation in line with project specifications and drafting standards.
• Coordinate drawings with engineers, architects and BIM teams.
• Update and revise drawings to reflect design changes and project requirements.
• Review drawings for accuracy, consistency and compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain organized drawing files and project documentation.
• Support project teams with drafting and technical documentation throughout the construction process.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of CAD drafting experience in building and construction projects.
• Experience preparing construction drawings, shop drawings, floor plans, elevations and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with drafting standards, drawing coordination and construction project requirements.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, organisation, communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work effectively with engineers, architects and BIM professionals.

Required skills

• Strong AutoCAD proficiency.
• Basic knowledge of Revit.
