Captain – Prime68 Steakhouse

About the role

The Captain leads the service team at Prime68 Steakhouse, ensuring seamless execution of banquet and restaurant operations for guests at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate service needs to chefs and stewards, manage charges for group functions and present checks for payment.
• Prepare banquet rooms, restaurants and coffee breaks, set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Inspect cleanliness and presentation of china, glass and silver, and ensure proper centrepieces on every table.
• Address guest satisfaction, relay dietary requirements and special requests to the kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, follow safety policies and report any incidents.

Required profile

• Professional appearance, ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb.
• Strong communication skills, courteous telephone etiquette and ability to develop positive working relationships.
• Commitment to confidentiality, company policies and quality standards.
