Carpentry Master – Logistics Center

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking an experienced Carpentry Master to lead the Logistics Center workshop. The role involves overseeing bespoke furniture and millwork fabrication, ensuring high‑quality installations, and supporting pre‑opening and operational projects across the resort.

Key responsibilities

• Review fabrication drawings, sketches and work orders, confirming dimensions, materials and hardware before work begins.
• Lead bespoke fabrication of custom furniture, cabinetry, architectural millwork, display elements and specialist timber details.
• Set out, machine, assemble, laminate, sand and finish timber and composite components to required standards.
• Operate and supervise safe use of woodworking machinery such as planers, jointers, cross‑cut saws, miter saws, circular saws, spindle molders, routers and drills.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, provide technical direction and ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Coordinate works through the CMMS platform, manage material planning and maintain workshop cleanliness and tool control.

Required profile

• Technical diploma, trade certification or recognized apprenticeship in carpentry, joinery or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in custom furniture, cabinetry or millwork, preferably in hospitality or high‑end commercial environments.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, shop drawings and finish specifications.
• Proficient with woodworking machinery (planers, jointers, saws, routers, drills) and hand tools.
• Experience with CMMS or digital work‑order systems and material planning.
• Strong knowledge of timber, veneers, laminates, adhesives, ironmongery and finishing systems.
