Cashier – Luxury Retail (SKIMS)

About the role

The Cashier will be the front‑line financial guardian for SKIMS, a luxury retail brand operating under Al Tayer Group in Abu Dhabi. You will handle cash and credit transactions, ensure accurate record‑keeping, and deliver high‑quality customer service in a fast‑paced boutique environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive cash, credit cards, and other authorized payments from customers and issue receipts or bills.
• Reconcile cash and credit receipts with sales figures and prepare daily cash summary reports for the accountant.
• Safeguard cash, cheques and related documents, and deposit them in the bank each day.
• Answer phone calls and customer inquiries professionally, enhancing the brand’s image.
• Monitor petty‑cash usage, authorize approved payments, and submit periodic accounts for verification.
• Track customer traffic and compile daily shop activity reports.

Required profile

• High school qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar cashier or retail role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High personal integrity and attention to detail.
• Computer literacy and a pleasant, well‑groomed appearance.
• Customer‑service orientation and strong organisational skills.
