About the role
Join AIG as a Casualty Underwriter in Dubai, supporting the profitable underwriting of new business and renewal retention for casualty products across the assigned territory.
Key responsibilities
- Underwrite new and renewal business to promote premium growth while meeting profit goals.
- Maintain casualty underwriting guidelines and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies.
- Develop and sustain broker/client relationships, generate new business, and up‑sell existing accounts.
- Track and update all casualty accounts using internal tools and ensure timely policy issuance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Territory management experience in the insurance industry.
- Negotiation skills and time‑management training preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of the property & casualty industry.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Outlook.
