Category Management Intern – Fragrance & Beauty

About the role

At Chanel, the Category Management Intern will support the Category Manager for Fragrance & Beauty across the Middle East. The role offers hands‑on exposure to luxury retail, product analysis and commercial strategy, working from the Dubai office.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market trends, sales data and competitor activity to inform category strategies.
• Prepare business reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in coordinating product launches and promotional activities in boutiques and with retail partners.
• Monitor stock levels, assortment and product performance to drive category growth.
• Conduct market visits, gather feedback and identify opportunities and challenges.
• Maintain accurate product and pricing information across channels.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Visual Merchandising and Training teams to ensure execution of initiatives.
• Support daily operations, project coordination and administrative tasks for the Category Manager.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and collaborative spirit.
• Fluency in English; Arabic, French or other languages a plus.
• Based in Dubai or willing to relocate.
