Category Manager – Greeting Cards & Gifting (Full/Part Time)

About the role

Share the Love, a leading gifting business in the UAE, is seeking a commercially‑driven Category Manager to own and grow its Greeting Cards & Gifting portfolio. You will shape product strategy, work closely with designers and suppliers, and ensure the range delights customers while delivering strong sales and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category growth plans for greeting cards, gift accessories and related products.
• Identify new product opportunities, trends and seasonal ranges; build roadmaps and launch calendars.
• Brief designers, create exclusive UAE/GCC collections, and manage product specifications, pricing and positioning.
• Oversee visual merchandising in retail stores and maintain attractive displays.
• Negotiate with existing and new suppliers on pricing, MOQs, payment terms and lead times; monitor supplier performance and product quality.
• Analyse sales, margins, stock performance and customer feedback; adjust pricing and promotional strategies.
• Collaborate with operations and purchasing teams to forecast demand, minimise stock‑outs and support replenishment planning.
• Conduct market research on competitors, industry trends and international gifting markets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in category management, buying, merchandising or product management.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical abilities.
• Proven experience sourcing products and negotiating with suppliers.
• Excellent communication, organisational and multi‑project management skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and data analysis.
• Familiarity with Shopify, Amazon and Noon platforms.
