Category Manager – Private Labels (Quick Commerce)

About the role

Amazon Now, the rapid‑delivery arm of Amazon UAE, is seeking a Category Manager to lead the private‑label and white‑label portfolio across fresh produce, perishables and grocery. You will act as a single‑threaded business owner, shaping strategy, P&L and selection for one of the fastest‑growing quick‑commerce businesses in the MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for private‑label and white‑label products, focusing on fresh and perishable items.
• Identify new product opportunities, build business cases, P&L models and go‑to‑market plans.
• Lead end‑to‑end product development, from formulation and packaging to launch, using stage‑gate processes.
• Monitor competitive dynamics, pricing and market share, translating insights into actionable interventions.
• Manage relationships with co‑manufacturers, suppliers, research agencies and strategic partners.
• Track revenue, profitability and ROI, producing high‑quality business documents for senior leadership forums.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or Marketing.
• 5+ years of FMCG experience in category development, product development, innovation, portfolio or brand management.
• Proven track record of launching and commercialising new categories, products or brands.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills and experience with financial modelling.
• Experience working with co‑manufacturers, suppliers and external strategic partners.
