Category Specialist – Marketing & HR Procurement

About the role

The Category Specialist – Marketing & HR Procurement will lead end‑to‑end sourcing activities for marketing and HR related services within a retail environment. Reporting to the procurement team, you will drive cost‑saving initiatives and ensure compliance with corporate policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle sourcing and RFx processes for assigned categories, including marketing, digital marketing and HR services.
• Negotiate contracts, monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with terms.
• Develop and track procurement KPIs, performance metrics and cost‑saving targets.
• Provide market intelligence and procurement recommendations to support business decisions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a senior procurement role.
• Proven experience in direct and indirect procurement, especially marketing and digital marketing services.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership.
