Chef De Partie - Bakery

About the role

Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, part of Anantara Hotels & Resorts, is hiring a full-time Chef De Partie for its bakery kitchen in Dubai. The role works closely with the restaurant chef to run the kitchen area safely and profitably, while supporting the development of restaurant cuisine concepts and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organize all activities within the restaurant kitchen area with the restaurant chef, ensuring a safe, smooth-running and profitable operation within the hotel's framework.
• Support the development of restaurant cuisine concepts and standards.
• Be familiar with local markets and suppliers, and recommend menu changes according to seasonal product availability.
• Follow Anantara food preparation and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality, and suggest improvements to those guidelines.
• Maintain food safety and protection, including proper dating, storage and rotation of food, and basic sanitation practices.
• Keep outlets safe and take responsibility for the asset management of all outlet property and facilities.
• Take part in departmental training to improve skills and service levels, and share training and resources with team members.
• Promote positive inter-departmental relations through open communication and cooperation.
