About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Chef de Partie Pastry & Bakery for its Wynn Oasis Dining venue. The role involves supporting the pastry and bakery team to deliver high‑quality products in a fast‑paced, luxury resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and assist with pastry and bakery operations, ensuring smooth workflow and consistent product quality.
• Requisition raw materials and verify ingredient quality, freshness, and proper storage.
• Maintain HACCP standards, ensuring hygienic food handling, proper dry and cold storage, and cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Track food preparation, production costs, inventory levels, portion control, and efficient use of resources.
• Uphold health, safety, hygiene, and sustainability standards, including waste‑reduction practices.
• Schedule team rosters, provide on‑the‑job training, and monitor performance to correct any deviations from procedures.
• Foster positive relationships with team members, management, and contractors while adhering to company policies and grooming standards.

Required profile

• Secondary school education or higher.
• Strong product knowledge of pastry, bakery, and international desserts.
• Accurate knife skills and proficiency in pastry and bakery techniques.
• Understanding of HACCP standards and food safety guidelines.
• Leadership and supervisory abilities with the capacity to motivate and mentor staff.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
