Chemical Engineering Teacher

About the role

The Chemical Engineering Teacher will join ADVETI to deliver high‑quality vocational training in chemical engineering. You will work closely with lead teachers and student counselors to ensure students achieve the required learning outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and continuously improve curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment strategies.
• Maintain accurate student and course records and communicate progress to students and management.
• Develop and update teaching materials, support program quality‑assurance processes, and liaise with student counselors.
• Lead professional‑development activities for staff and model effective learning behaviours.
• Oversee facilities and activities related to student learning, ensuring a safe and productive environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant vocational teaching or training experience.
• BSc in Chemical Engineering or related discipline (Master’s/PhD preferred).
• Excellent oral and written English (IELTS 7 for non‑native speakers).
• Cultural awareness of the region and strong IT proficiency.

Required skills

• Industrial process engineering experience.
• Ability to teach instrumentation, process control, DCS, and operation of industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of unit operations, petroleum processes, corrosion, heat transfer and fluid mechanics.
