Chemist – Technical Laboratory Specialist

About the role

Join Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, as a Chemist to support technical platform development through laboratory research and analysis. You will work on innovative projects that help customers achieve clean water, safe food, and sustainable energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct analyses and experiments on organic and inorganic substances to evaluate their applications.
• Develop and improve methods for processing or producing new materials.
• Research potential new uses for technical platforms and document findings.
• Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and prepare technical reports.
• Support product application testing and contribute to differentiated technology development.
• Ensure protection of proprietary innovations through appropriate legal instruments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry (biology or biochemistry not preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience, preferably in the chemical blending industry or third‑party laboratories.
• Experience working under GMP conditions is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, data collection, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in multi‑function project teams.
