Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Aviation Safety Startup

About the role

We are an emerging software development company focused on aviation safety innovation, currently relocating from Cyprus to the UAE. We seek a commercially driven Chief Executive Officer to lead the company through its next phase of growth, turning a patented technology into a commercial success.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall commercial strategy and its execution.
• Drive capital‑raising efforts, including investor engagement, pitch development, and funding rounds.
• Represent the company to investors, partners, government stakeholders, and industry bodies.
• Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies for defence and civilian aviation sectors.
• Establish strategic partnerships within aerospace, defence, and technology ecosystems.
• Build and lead the commercial, business‑development, and sales functions.
• Align commercial priorities with product development and regulatory pathways.
• Guide the company toward sustainable growth, scalability, and potential exit opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CEO, founder, or senior executive in a high‑growth technology or aerospace/defence company.
• Strong track record in capital raising (venture capital, private equity, strategic investors, or government funding).
• Credibility to engage institutional investors and senior stakeholders.
• Experience in aviation, aerospace, defence, or dual‑use technology sectors (highly desirable).
• Success in commercialising complex technical products.
• Extensive network within relevant industries (investors, defence, aviation, technology).
• Strategic thinker with hands‑on execution capability in a startup environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
