Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

About the role

The Chief Technology Officer will shape and execute Al Ghurair Exchange’s technology vision, driving digital transformation, fintech integration, and cybersecurity across all platforms. This senior leader ensures that technology solutions align with business goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall IT and digital transformation strategy.
• Lead design, development, and management of the mobile application and digital services such as online remittance, digital onboarding, KYC verification, bill payments, and digital wallets.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud systems, VPNs, and branch connectivity, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Drive innovation through AI, automation, and fintech solutions to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with Central Bank of UAE regulations, AML/KYC standards, and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Manage vendor relationships, business continuity planning, and technology governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior technology leadership within financial services or fintech.
• Strong track record of delivering large‑scale digital transformation projects.
• Deep understanding of regulatory compliance, especially CBUAE and AML/KYC requirements.
