Civil Design Engineer

About the role

Antal International is partnering with a leading contracting company in Abu Dhabi to recruit an experienced Civil Design Engineer. The role focuses on coordinating civil and structural design activities for power infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate civil and structural design deliverables, reviews and submissions across multidisciplinary teams.
• Review engineering drawings, calculations, specifications and technical documents.
• Manage design comments, revisions, RFIs and document approval workflows.
• Identify design clashes and constructability issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Obtain utility authority approvals and NOCs from TAQA, DEWA, EtihadWE and SEWA where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of civil/structural engineering and design coordination experience, preferably in power, utilities, EPC or industrial projects.
• UAE/GCC project experience and familiarity with utility authority approval processes.
• Strong technical coordination, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit, Navisworks or BIM.

What we offer

• Salary AED 15,000 – AED 18,000 per month plus benefits and bonus.
