About the role
Nexar Group is looking for a full-time Civil Engineer based in Dubai, working on fit-out, flooring and maintenance projects across the UAE. The engineer plans, supervises and checks civil and finishing works from the first survey until handover.
Key responsibilities
- Review drawings, specifications and site conditions before work starts.
- Plan and sequence civil works with the operations team and site supervisors.
- Check materials and installation against the agreed specification at each stage.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants and building management on technical matters and approvals.
- Prepare site records, inspection reports and handover documents.
Required profile
- Degree in civil engineering.
- Experience on fit-out, construction or maintenance projects in the UAE.
- Clear written and spoken English.
Required skills
- Good knowledge of local authority approvals and site safety practice.
