Civil Engineering Trainee – Steel Structure Works (UAE National)

About the role

We are seeking motivated UAE National students pursuing Civil Engineering degrees to join our engineering and project teams. This trainee position offers practical exposure to steel structure works, site coordination, inspections, and project execution within airport logistics projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily site and technical activities for engineering and project teams.
• Assist in reviewing structural steel drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Support site inspections, installation activities, and progress reporting related to steel structures.
• Track project updates, snagging items, and coordinate site activities.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams as required.
• Prepare reports, checklists, and project documentation.
• Observe and assist with quality and safety compliance on site.

Required profile

• UAE National (Family Book required).
• Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Interest in steel structures, construction, and engineering project environments.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and site activities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Familiarity with AutoCAD or related engineering software.
• Basic ability to interpret engineering drawings.
