Client Project Engineer - Luxury Real Estate

About the role

SOL Properties is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Client Project Engineer to oversee construction quality and finishing standards across its luxury real estate developments in Dubai. The role covers site inspections, monitoring of civil and architectural works, identification of defects and coordination with contractors and consultants so that all works meet approved drawings, project specifications and the company's high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections of civil, architectural and finishing works to ensure quality and compliance.
• Monitor workmanship and verify that works meet approved drawings, specifications and project standards.
• Inspect concrete works, blockwork, gypsum partitions, false ceilings, marble and tile finishes, wooden flooring and joinery.
• Identify construction defects, issue inspection comments and follow up on corrective and rectification works.
• Review material samples, mock-ups and finishing details against quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, project managers and other stakeholders to resolve site quality issues.
• Review inspection requests, method statements and material submissions for civil and finishing works.
• Maintain inspection records, quality reports, snagging lists and defect-tracking documentation.
• Conduct pre-handover inspections and follow up on snagging and de-snagging to close defects on time.
• Verify completed works before recommending acceptance or handover and escalate recurring quality issues with practical solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience as a Quality Control Engineer with a contractor or Site Inspector with a consultant.
• Experience working with leading UAE developers is a plus.
• Ability to manage high-pressure, high-value projects.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, finishing materials and inspection procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
