Swimming Pool and Water Feature Engineer

About the role

Azizi, a Dubai-based developer, is hiring a Swimming Pool and Water Feature Engineer within its Studio360 design team, reporting directly to the Head of MEP and working from the Al Hudaiba Awards office in Dubai. The engineer plays a key role in designing, developing and coordinating swimming pool systems and water features across residential, hospitality and mixed-use developments, working closely with multidisciplinary design teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed and innovative designs for swimming pools and water features in collaboration with project teams, adhering to project specifications.
• Manage and supervise the construction process, coordinating with contractors and ensuring compliance with design plans, quality standards and safety regulations.
• Ensure projects comply with local and international regulations, health and safety standards and environmental considerations.
• Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, procurement and financial tracking.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure the durability of installations.
• Perform calculations for structural loads, water flow and system efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of water filtration systems, circulation and chemical treatment processes.
• Understanding of structural engineering and material properties.
• Excellent project management, problem-solving and time-management skills, and strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and hydraulic analysis tools.
• Familiarity with engineering software and design tools.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and environmental considerations.
