Clinical Tutor (Basic Sciences)

About the role

The College of Medicine at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) is looking for a Clinical Tutor (Basic Sciences). The role supports teaching, practical and simulation-based learning, provides academic support to students and contributes to assessments and course delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate simulation-based teaching sessions covering clinical skills, communication and procedural scenarios.
• Support anatomy practical sessions and integrated learning activities within the Basic Sciences curriculum.
• Contribute to small-group teaching, skills training and learner engagement initiatives.
• Support formative and summative assessments, including OSCEs and practical examinations.
• Assist with course coordination, prepare teaching materials and deliver academic support.
• Collaborate with faculty to ensure a high-quality, learner-centred educational experience.
• Supervise and invigilate examinations in line with university policy.

Required profile

• Eligible for DHA/DHCC licensure.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is desirable.
• Strong teaching, communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
