Cluster Commercial Director – Abu Dhabi Yas Island

About the role

The Cluster Commercial Director will lead the commercial strategy for Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island, driving revenue across rooms, food & beverage, spa, events and other profit centres. Reporting to the Cluster General Manager, the role combines strategic planning, team leadership and operational execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual commercial strategy and budget, using Hilton’s Commercial Focus process and business intelligence tools.
• Partner with Operations, Revenue, Sales, Marketing and other stakeholders to meet or exceed revenue targets across all hotel departments.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing commercial team covering Sales, Conferences & Events, Marketing, PR and Reservations.
• Oversee local marketing, eCommerce and public relations activities, ensuring alignment with the hotel’s commercial vision.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments to identify opportunities and risks.
• Deliver the commercial revenue budget and support the Cluster GM and Finance team in achieving TGOP and EBITDA targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3+ years in a senior commercial or revenue‑generating role within UAE hotels.
• Proven leadership experience driving high‑performing teams and delivering business growth.
• Experience presenting strategic commercial plans to senior executives and managing multi‑discipline commercial functions.
• Strong track record of building relationships with key accounts, owners and asset managers.
