CNC Machine Operator

About the role

EDGE, an advanced technology group headquartered in the United Arab Emirates, is looking for a CNC Machine Operator to join its Operations Machining team. The operator sets up, runs and maintains CNC machines to manufacture precision components according to engineering drawings, customer requirements and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform in-process measurements and visual inspections.
• Load and unload materials and carry out machine changeovers.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and cleaning.
• Complete production and quality records accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and 5S requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and minimise machine downtime.

Required profile

• High school diploma, trade certificate or equivalent.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• English proficiency required; unsolicited resumes from recruitment agencies are not accepted.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Preferred: minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience.
• Preferred: experience with 3, 4 or 5-axis CNC machines, CAD/CAM and CNC programming.
• Preferred: experience in aerospace, manufacturing or engineering environments.
