Commercial Executive (IT Procurement)

About the role

The Commercial Executive (IT Procurement) will lead strategic procurement activities across IT and corporate services, ensuring cost‑effective, compliant, and timely acquisition of goods and services. This role combines strong techno‑commercial expertise with stakeholder coordination to drive value for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end strategic procurement for multiple categories, including IT and professional services.
• Lead techno‑commercial evaluations, vendor assessments, bid analysis, negotiations and contract finalisation.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to capture requirements and provide timely procurement support.
• Drive cost optimisation initiatives while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
• Prepare and review commercial documents, purchase orders, contracts and related paperwork.
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, procedures and governance.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve commercial issues effectively.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred) with additional qualifications in procurement, supply chain or commercial management considered an advantage.
• 5–8 years of multi‑category procurement experience, specifically in techno‑commercial procurement for IT and corporate services.
• Strong analytical and negotiation capabilities with a proven track record of managing multiple categories and priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, GEP SMART, Coupa or Ivalua.
• Experience using procurement ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics.
