Commercial Manager - KSA, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman

About the role

Diageo is looking for a Commercial Manager to cover the KSA, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman markets, with the primary location in Dubai. The role is responsible for implementing the commercial strategy for these markets, building strong relationships with distributors and key customers, and delivering brand performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the KSA, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman market strategy to optimise growth opportunities, market share wins and profit enhancement.
• Build strong relationships with the distributor and top customers, lock commercial deals and drive sustainable, profitable growth across the value chain.
• Prepare quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with the distributor with a clear action plan.
• Deliver brand performance targets in volume, net sales and market share in line with the regional commercial strategy.
• Lead the forecast submission for the market.
• Implement an omnichannel strategy ensuring a consistent consumer experience across e-commerce, on-trade and off-trade.
• Support negotiations with Diageo distributors, securing access to depletions and market data, and propose regional deals internally for Diageo EEME.

Required profile

• 6-8 years of successful experience in a commercial function within matrixed environments, with FMCG blue-chip multinationals.
• Experience managing direct customers and essential commercial insight, preferably gained through cross-functional work.
• Track record of executing an effective commercial strategy in a competitive environment while maintaining a strong brand presence.
