Commercial Officer

About the role

Siemens Digital Industries is seeking a Commercial Officer in Dubai to support financial planning, reporting, risk management and sales operations across the region. You will work closely with finance, sales, logistics and project teams to ensure accurate commercial processes and data quality.

Key responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning; consolidate regional financial results and analyse performance against targets.
• Prepare periodic and ad‑hoc financial and management reports, dashboards and KPI submissions.
• Perform commercial and customer risk checks, including margin and credit analysis, and coordinate bank guarantees and letters of credit.
• Assist sales throughout the lifecycle with commercial calculations, margin analysis and bid documentation.
• Manage customer master data, credit‑rating activities, order booking, invoicing and related commercial documentation.
• Support accounts receivable, cash collection, internal billing and cost transfers, ensuring coordination with finance and project management.
• Maintain data quality and system housekeeping in SAP and contribute to process improvement and digitalisation initiatives.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial sales support, finance, controlling, accounting or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of SAP (controlling, logistics, sales orders, project transactions).
• Experience with Power BI.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
