Commercial Planning Manager

About the role

As the Commercial Planning Manager you will orchestrate Destinus’ commercial ambitions, ensuring bids, demonstrations and deliveries are coordinated and compliant. You will act as the central link between Business Development, Programme Management, Legal and Operations to streamline the path to successful deals.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a rolling commercial calendar of bids, milestones and deliveries, flagging conflicts and resource risks.
• Align commercial plans with programme schedules, surfacing risks and dependencies.
• Own export‑licensing administration, preparing licence applications, end‑user certificates and classification requests.
• Serve as the main contact for the legal team on export licences and liaise with national export‑control authorities.
• Coordinate demonstration activities, translating customer requirements into clear briefs and managing related logistics.
• Organise customer and partner site visits, ensuring compliance and alignment with commercial objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Law, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in commercial planning, sales operations or commercial project management, preferably in defence or aerospace.
• Strong planning accuracy, stakeholder‑management and coordination skills.
• Fluent English; additional languages such as Dutch, German or Spanish are a plus.
