Commis 1 – Pastry & Bakery (Wynn Oasis Dining)

About the role

The Commis 1 will support daily pastry and bakery operations for Wynn Oasis Dining, ensuring smooth workflow and consistent product quality in a luxury resort setting.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and assist with daily pastry and bakery operations.
• Requisition raw materials, check quality, freshness, storage and stock levels.
• Maintain HACCP standards and ensure hygienic handling and cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
• Track food preparation, production costs, inventory, portion control and product quality.
• Optimize resource use, minimize waste and support efficient bakery processes.
• Deliver high‑quality pastry and bakery products, handling requests and complaints promptly.
• Coach and train team members on procedures, health and safety, and continuous improvement.
• Promote teamwork, attend meetings and adhere to company policies and grooming standards.

Required profile

• Secondary school education or higher.
• Strong product knowledge of international cuisine.
• Accurate knife skills.
• Understanding of HACCP standards and guidelines.
• Leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory and daily operations.
• Attention to detail for cleanliness and quality.
