About the role
The Ritz‑Carlton in Dubai is seeking a Commis 3 to support its Food & Beverage operations. This full‑time, on‑site role involves preparing ingredients, cooking, and maintaining kitchen standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, portion, chop, and store ingredients; wash and peel fresh produce.
- Cook foods according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
- Monitor food quality, test doneness, and ensure correct temperatures of appliances and food.
- Set up and break down work stations, serve food in proper portions, and maintain a clean, disinfected kitchen environment.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related kitchen experience.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, lift and carry objects up to 25 lb without assistance.
- Commitment to safety, security policies and professional appearance.
