Commissioning Machinery Superintendent (HVAC)

About the role

The Hail & Ghasha project in Al Ruwais, UAE is looking for a Commissioning Machinery Superintendent (HVAC) for a fixed-term contract from 1 November 2026 to 31 December 2027. The role covers functional loop checks and interlock/sequence checks in line with quality, health, environmental and safety regulations, and follows the stated procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed commissioning procedures for machinery and packages and for functional tests of the machinery.
• Check and prepare the commissioning punch list and supervise the closure of pending items.
• Monitor that activities follow procedures and requirements.
• Supervise vendor specialists, ensure they are used efficiently, support them in executing their jobs and coordinate with commissioning supervisors.
• Keep a logbook of all activities and produce signed certificates handed over to the QA/QC certification engineer.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent diploma in engineering.
• At least 12 years of relevant field experience, including extensive HVAC commissioning experience.
• Experience working on the contractor side and on large oil & gas, industrial or EPC projects such as large refinery plants.
• Similar role covered in at least the last three projects of comparable size.
