- Strengthen performance, compliance and controlled commodity culture, and work with treasury, middle office, financial control and IT teams on operational controls, reporting accuracy and hedge governance.
- Ensure hedging and front-office activities comply with risk policies, trading mandates, delegated authority limits and internal controls, and support the implementation of SAP CTRM controls.
- Monitor non-ferrous metal exposures and execute hedging transactions via the London Metal Exchange and OTC derivatives such as swaps, futures and options.
- Monitor quotational period exposures, forward curves, contango/backwardation structures and provisional pricing positions, and coordinate with sales, procurement, brokers, banks, exchanges and counterparties on price fixation, confirmations and settlements.
- Report hedge P&L transactionally to measure hedge efficiency at transaction and portfolio levels, and monitor tolerance exposures from physical contracts.
- Support internal and external audits with information and respond to ad hoc queries.
Required profile
- Comparable experience in commodity hedging, preferably within the aluminum or metals industry.
- Full-time position; the candidate must be located in the UAE.
