Communications Coordinator

About the role

AECOM is recruiting a Communications Coordinator in Dubai as part of its 24-month Advance graduate program. The role creates, directs and implements integrated messaging and communications strategies for internal and external audiences such as employees, clients, partners, media, investors and the Board of Directors, across digital and in-person channels. It also protects and promotes the brand, aligns storytelling with business priorities and highlights employees' work. Only UAE nationals with a family book are considered, and the role is NAFIS eligible.

Key responsibilities

• Learn effective internal and external communication using proven writing and editing skills.
• Assist in completing team projects and goals.
• Help prepare messaging and support the implementation of communications plans.
• Build communications skills across a range of channels and tactics.
• Create messaging and content including website and social media, editorial, press releases, promotional materials, event materials, collateral, presentations and newsletters.
• Use organizational tools to report data from communications activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, English or a related field.
• Strong written, editing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to create engaging content across digital and traditional channels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Internship, university project or extracurricular experience in communications, marketing, PR or content creation is a plus.
