Complex Security Officer

About the role

A full-time, non-management Complex Security Officer is needed at the Four Points by Sheraton on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai. The role covers loss prevention and security across the property, including patrols, monitoring of security systems and handling incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access
• Monitor closed-circuit television, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms and fire life safety system
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily physical hazard inspections
• Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required, and assist guests and employees during emergencies
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons and report accidents, thefts and vehicle incidents to the scene
• Complete incident reports, loss prevention shift summaries and daily activity reports, and handle interruptions and complaints
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence and interview relevant parties
• Maintain confidentiality of reports and proprietary information, and follow company policies and safety training
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs and assist individuals with disabilities

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
• No related work experience or supervisory experience required
• Physical ability to stand, sit or walk for long periods, move quickly, and lift objects up to 50 pounds unaided
• Ability to read small print and use computers and point-of-sale systems
